We stress the need to monitor the progress made in the Great Arab Free Trade Area and the requirements of the Arab Customs Union in the hope of creating a common Arab market, and to make every effort to overcome obstacles that prevent it.
In order to ensure the integration of the economies of the Arab countries and to create competitive advantages in the framework of the international economic blocs, we adopted the draft charter for the development of the SME sector in order to guarantee the integration of the economies of the Arab countries. . Recognizing the importance of modernizing technical and vocational education in the Arab world and linking it to the demands of the labor market as an element of overall development, we emphasize the need to develop skills and competencies. to encourage creativity and innovation in order to build the human being and to create the productive citizen who contributes to the construction and development of Arab society.
Given the importance of the family's leading role in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, at social, economic and cultural levels, we adopted the document Arab region.
Recognizing the importance of the active role of women in Arab societies and the need to empower them and integrate them into other economic, social and developmental issues, we have endorsed the program to integrate women and girls the development process of local communities.
We have also adopted the "Arab Strategy for the Protection of Children in the Status of Asylum / Displaced Persons in the Arab Region", a guiding document and the implementation of their rights to remedy the situation of refugee / internally displaced children. the Arab region and to improve their living conditions.

Given the important role played by the private sector in financing sustainable development in the Arab countries to achieve the desired economic and social advancement and integration, we welcome the results of the fourth Arab Private Sector Forum held on the sidelines of the Arab Development Summit in Beirut.
We believe in empowering young people to participate actively in society and strengthening the role of youth organizations in achieving overall development, which will have a positive impact on young people, offer opportunities for youth and develop their skills, in particular refugees and displaced persons. Finally, we are the leaders of the Arab countries meeting in Beirut. We decided to convene the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit five years later at the beginning of the year 2023 in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in order to follow the results of the decisions taken and of what was declared in this declaration, as well as to study projects and topics of interest for Arab economic, social and development work. We have also instructed the Economic and Social Council and the Secretariat to monitor and submit periodic reports on progress made at Arab Summits.
