Study confirms that in case of continued consumption liver cells are affected
The results of a study conducted by scientists from the University of Granada indicate that continued consumption of sunflower oil may be at the origin of the development of liver diseases, including fibrosis and cancer.
According to the current Russian site, researchers have studied and analyzed the effects of two types of vegetable oils on the health of the body: olive oil and sunflower oil.
The analysis of the hepatic genome in the animal after the treatment period for both types of oil highlighted changes in the infrastructure of animal liver cells, which absorbed daily from the liver. Sunflower oil, resulting in a sharp increase in the possibility of development of non-alcoholic hepatitis, a disease causing the development of fat edema. Inflammation and damage to cellular structures, which ultimately lead to cirrhosis of the liver or cancer.
The researchers confirmed that the liver condition of the animals eating olive oil was much better than that of the animals eating sunflower oil.
