"Boeing" withdraws from the offer of a new plane after the Ethiopian disaster
The Boeing 777X, an updated version of the 777 family, has decided to drop its Boeing 777-800 Max flight to Ethiopia.
Although the Boeing plane that crashed in Ethiopia was of another type, the US company decided to postpone the offer of the new plane, scheduled for March 13.
"The company will discuss the opportunity to present the new aircraft in the near future," the company said, citing a Boeing source.
The Boeing 777X is an updated version of the Boeing 777 and will include two Boeing 777-8 and Boeing 777-9 models. The 777x is supposed to be a competitor of the Airbus A350.
