British royal court chooses Salah among Premier League stars

It has been revealed that Britain’s Prince William invited Egyptian star Mohamed Salah and a number of celebrities to attend the first “Earthshot” awards ceremony on October 17 in London.

This ceremony is organized to distribute a few prizes, including the “Earthshot” prize, a global environmental prize for dealing with climate change and for innovative solutions to repair the planet.

The finalists were chosen from more than 750 nominations from around the world, and five winners will be announced at a gala on October 17th, each of whom will receive £ 1million and dedicated support to evolve their environmental solutions.

Among the stars invited to the Earthshot Awards ceremony was the Egyptian star, a Liverpool FC first team scorer, in addition to actors David Orelow, Emma Thompson and Emma Watson.

The five nominees were chosen by Prince William, Queen Rania of Jordan, Colombian singer Shakira, actress Cate Blanchett, Brazilian football legend Dani Alves and Peshawar diplomat Christiana Figueres.

Mohamed Salah will present one of the five awards, in addition to the wife of Prince William Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Emma Thompson, Emma Watson and David Oyelowo.

Mohamed Salah is the only footballer invited to the ceremony, to be held in London, in recognition of his important and inspiring role for young people in the Middle East, since his move to Liverpool.
