The Kyrgyz fighter, Valentina Shevchenko, defended the UFC mixed martial arts title after defeating her American rival Liz Karmosh in a fight on Sunday.

Shevchenko won the match in the unanimous decision of the referees, after defeating his five-round challenge that brought them together, "Montevideo", capital of Uruguay, in the competition "UFC Fight Night 156" .
