An Egyptian court on Saturday handed down an enforceable sentence for imprisoning artist Ahmed al-Fishawi for a month;
The decision of the caliph's family court, in central Cairo, completes the dispute between the son of the late Fishawi, the son of the late star Farouk Fishawi, and Hind Hinnawi, divorced, where she claimed the legal costs of her daughter living abroad.
Al-Fishawi filed a lawsuit through his attorney, Shaaban Said, for the non-payment of frozen support estimated at 234.6 thousand pounds ($ 13.3 thousand).
Al-Fishawi's lawyer said in a press release that the verdict is enforceable and that it is forbidden to appeal it. The artist has been informed of the payment order.
He added: "In case of arrest, he will be obliged to apply the sentence pronounced against him or to pay child support to his daughter".
