LONDON (Reuters) – English fans were furious after Manchester City's penalty shootout in Sunday's English League Cup final at the new Wembley Stadium.
Angry fans confirmed that goalkeeper Kiba was the first to lose after a major crisis that had ended a few minutes before the end, when he had refused to leave the field for substitute goalkeeper Cabayero, more a change in coaching staff prior to the shot on goal.
Chelsea fans called the club to punish the goalkeeper, some even going as far as demanding Kiba's departure and selling him this summer due to his unsportsmanlike behavior in the final.
Despite the big problems between Chelsea fans and coach Sari due to recent poor results, the mood of the fans was delighted with the team's performance against Man City, Kiba's responsibility being assumed.
John Terry, the former captain, also attacked Keba after the match, claiming that he had shown himself unprofessional, away from Chelsea's behavior and personality on the pitch.
