Research on alternative sources of energy has become a priority for scientists from many countries around the world. One of the most promising projects in this area is Chinese.

Since 2006, the Chinese have started to develop an EAST device in Hefei, which should become an "industrial sun".

Our star is known to generate energy through nuclear fusion. The scientists decided to restore the process under terrestrial conditions, creating a special chamber for this purpose, Tokamak, where the plasma is heated to record temperatures. It should be noted that last November, researchers were able to reach 100 million degrees Celsius, according to the TopCor website.

However, the representative of the Chinese National Nuclear Corporation, Duan Siura, announced that the machine could this year "warm up" to the expected indicators, which means the end of the project. According to the information received, the plasma inside TOCAMAC EAST will be 7 times warmer than the sun core (about 15 million degrees Celsius).

If scientists succeed in this task, humanity will have a reliable model to create thermal nuclear reactors that will provide the planet with unlimited alternative energy. Apparently, China is ready to finish the job, although a day of use of the revolutionary device costs $ 15,000.
