Google Chrome is currently testing new features that will make searching online easier and making it a more enjoyable experience.
One of these features, called “Trips”, automatically collects pages and information on a particular topic, which will prevent users from manually searching the history or creating a “Bookmarks” folder with all previously visited sites, according to an official release from “Chrome.
The Travel function can be deactivated at any time and its search history is erased.
Synchronization groups
Journeys search groups are not synced with the user’s Google account, so they cannot be accessed on different computers, and the company may change that in the future, Engadget noted.
The Trips feature is useful if you are planning a trip over a period of several weeks or if you are trying to gather the most information about a car you want to buy.
The feature is currently only available in the desktop version of Chrome Canary.
side search panel
Another feature that Google Chrome is testing is that when you click on any link, a “G” sign will appear next to the address bar above, and when you click on it, a side panel will appear at the screen with other results what the user is looking for.
The search side panel will allow you to compare the currently browsing page with other results, without having to open multiple tabs or switch between search pages.
And the company had recently introduced a new feature related to the privacy of its users, which allows to delete the last 15 minutes of the search history on the smartphone.
The feature to delete the last 15 minutes of search history is currently available in the “Google” app on “iPhone” phones, and is expected to launch on “Android” phones later this year.
