Coalition Forces spokesman Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki said: “Coalition naval forces on Wednesday evening monitored an attempt by the Houthi terrorist militia to carry out hostile and terrorist action in the southern Red Sea using two remote controlled bombs launched by the militia from Hodeidah Governorate.
Brigadier General Al-Maliki confirmed that “the two boat bombs which pose a threat to regional and international security, shipping routes and world trade have been destroyed”.
He noted that “the Houthi terrorist militia is using Hodeidah Governorate as a location to launch ballistic missiles, drones and explosive and unmanned boats, as well as to deploy sea mines at random, in clear and explicit violation of international law. humanitarian aid as well as in violation of the provisions of the Stockholm-Hodeidah Ceasefire Agreement.
He stressed that “the command of the joint forces of the coalition continues to implement strict and dissuasive measures against this terrorist militia and to neutralize and destroy these capacities which threaten regional and international security”.
