Tunisian club Etoile du Sahel, Kais Ashour, announced that his club had reached a preliminary agreement with Ahli management to end the crisis of Ivorian attacker Slimani Coulibaly.

The official spokesman for the coastal sports star said through the screen "Echo of the Country": "has reached a satisfactory agreement for all parties, whether by Al-Ahli or the Star Club. "

"We are going to get in the coming days an official of Ahli allowing the player to officially participate with the Tunisian club."

The Tunisian sports spokesman declined to give material details on the amount that Al Ahli will receive, saying: "I will not give any material details as this will not benefit the fans."

The official ES Sahel page via Facebook said Tuesday night that the Tunisian club had reached a preliminary agreement with Ahli's management regarding the Ivorian Soleimani Coulibaly's case.

The Tunisian club added in its statement that the management of the star was waiting to complete the remaining legal proceedings.

Coulibaly joined Al Ahli in January 2017 and spent only four months with the team before escaping. Al Ahli then lodged a complaint against him with FIFA, which fined the player $ 1.4 million.

The Ivorian joined Etoile du Sahel after breaking his contract with Scottish club Partick Thistle, who has been playing for him since last August and has played only four games.
