Violent winds resulted in the collapse of part of the stands of the Dutch club Alkmaar, officials having confirmed that it was completely empty at the time of Saturday's incident.
The images show the collapse of some of the stadiums that can seat around 17,000 people. It was installed in the northern Dutch city 13 years ago.
"We were all surprised by what happened, we are shocked, but we are happy that no one has been hurt," said club director Robert Einhorn.
He added that the club "will study with experts in this field.After the investigation is over, we will be able to give more details."
The club was scheduled to host Thursday a match against Ukrainian Mariupol in the third round of the Europa League Europa League.
