The founders of 3D Bioprinting Solutions can send beef or fish cells to the International Space Station for full meat testing in August.

"We want to send muscle cells and we will monitor the experiments in space conditions, they will probably be ready to be launched," Yosif Hassouani, director of the company, told Reuters.

According to him, the company is currently working with three US and Israeli companies to develop technologies to produce a large number of living cells such as beef, tuna and salmon.

The company is now receiving cell samples from partners to test them. The tests must show which specimens are suitable for working on the ISS biometric printer.

The selected samples will be filled in a laboratory laboratory and sent to the station. During the experiment, scientists must obtain the muscle structures of the cells sent.

Hassouani said the ceramic-based materials would be sent to the station for bone tissue.
