Cultural / Islamic Affairs Workshop “Mental Health Concepts” Concludes in Jeddah

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Appeal and Guidance, represented by the Institute of Imams and Preachers, in cooperation with the National Center for the Promotion of Mental Health, today concluded a workshop titled< Concepts de santé mentale >>, which lasted three days, with the participation of 50 preachers from employees of the Department of Mosques, Advocacy and Guidance in Jeddah.
The workshop addressed four main areas: faith and its relationship to mental health, misconceptions about mental health, mental illnesses, their causes, causes and methods of treatment, and the role of imams, preachers and preachers in the direction of mental health.
At the end of the workshop, the participants received certificates of participation, expressing their thanks and gratitude to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and the National Center for Mental Health Promotion, for organizing the workshop.
