Al Marsad: The National Cybersecurity Guidance Center today issued a high-risk security warning regarding a security update to the McAfee product.
The center indicated that the risk level of the alert is high and that it targets all sectors. Explaining that McAfee has released an update to correct a number of vulnerabilities.
The center revealed that the attacker could exploit the vulnerabilities and conduct a cross-site scripting attack (XSS), or cross-site request forgery (CSRF), and execute malware.
Regarding preventive measures, the center recommended updating the copies concerned. McAfee has posted an explanation of these updates.
