The National Cyber Security Advisory Center has issued a high-risk warning that there are a number of vulnerabilities in the Chrome browser for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
The center added that these flaws allow the attacker to override the buffer, detect and disclose information, and run malware.
The center recommended updating the browser to version 87,0.4280,66, adding that Google has posted an explanation of the necessary update via the link here.
He stressed that the modernization method is done through the following stages:
1 – Open Chrome.
2 – At the top left of the screen, click on More, Help, then About Google Chrome.
3 – The current version number is the set of numbers under the word “Google Chrome”, and Chrome will check for updates and automatic updating.
4 – Click on Restart.
