The Syrian government condemned the British decision to list Lebanon's Hezbollah on the list of terrorist organizations and said it was "evidence of" historical hostility from Great Britain to the Arab nation ".

According to "SANA", an official source of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants: "The Syrian Arab Republic strongly condemns the decision of the British government to include Hezbollah on the list of terrorist organizations."

The Syrian Foreign Minister said the British decision "confirms Britain's historic hostility to the Arab nation and is the godfather of the division of the Arab nation through the Sykes-Picot agreement. She is also the owner of the disastrous Balfour Declaration that led to the Zionist Zionist usurpation of Palestine and the displacement of millions of Palestinians, the first of which was the tripartite aggression. against Syria in April 2018, which confirmed Britain's dependence on the US project in the region. "

The statement accused Britain of supporting extremist Takfiri organizations and "providing and continuing to support various terrorist groups to serve the Israeli program hostile to the Arab nation." Those who follow this policy have the least credibility possible and have no right to charge others, A national resistance movement against the Israeli occupation whose legitimacy is guaranteed by international law and the UN Charter and not by an unjust decision of a government of its black history in the slavery of peoples and the rape of their rights. "

On Friday, Hezbollah rejected the British draft resolution by including it in the "list of terrorist organizations," noting that "no country in the world endorses, does not fund, and does not support terrorism. to accuse Hezbollah of any resistance movement ".

"The British government is nothing more than a subordinate to the United States," he said in a statement. "It is an act of hostility to the peoples of the region to satisfy the leaders of Washington at the expense of the interests of its people and their role in the Middle East and the Islamic world."

The British government announced last Wednesday that it was preparing a draft resolution to be tabled in parliament completely banning Lebanese "Hezbollah" and placing it on the list of terrorist organizations, including the political party.
