The world's most famous fashion designer, Karl Lagerfeld, has died at age 85, media reported on Tuesday.
According to reports in the press, famous fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld has died as a result of a health problem he has been suffering for a few weeks.
It was the first time in his history that he was missing a runway participation at the end of a fashion show at Chanel.
Lagerfeld led Coco Chanel's fashion house for three decades, offering eight collections a year.
During his illness, the designer missed two fashion shows at Chanel House and the company said at the time that he was "feeling bad," according to The Sun newspaper.
"Mr. Lagerfeld, artistic director of Chenil, very worried, asked Virginie Vierard, director of the company's art studio, to represent him," said Chanel.
