The Justice Ministry has revealed the publication of a court ruling dismissing the trial of a Saudi father for custody of his daughter from his foreign ex-wife.
Details of the lawsuit included the fact that the plaintiff took legal action against his foreign ex-wife, claiming custody of his daughter – 10 years old – because the mother was not fit for custody.
The complainant said the mother lives in precarious housing and is unable to pay rent, as well as threatening him to travel with her daughter outside the kingdom.
The mother replied that she had incubated her daughter from birth and that the complainant’s claim in her lawsuit was false, confirming that she had not threatened him to travel outside the Kingdom, as she was born in Arabia.
