"The proportion of people suffering from obesity in Egypt is alarming and obesity is linked to other diseases such as diabetes, stress and the C virus," said Dr. Reham Ghalab, Director of the National Campaign for C Detection and Noncommunicable Diseases.

"35% of Egyptians weigh more than the normal weight," she said in an interview with Te'an TV. "The Egyptian citizen does not have a culture of weight, weight and longevity.

She explained that "the state is able to repair the crisis of obesity and excesses," stressing that "people under pressure of about 21.7% and many diabetics were not receiving treatment because of their potential or reluctance to receive it. "

She added that "the lack of awareness was at the root of the neglect of diabetic patients and the pressure on the importance of access to treatment, and we have a professional marketing campaign to educate our parents in the countryside and in villages with the importance of treating noncommunicable diseases ".
