A world newspaper has published a new report in which scientists have discovered a unique scintillating planet covered with precious stones.
The planet, temporarily called "HD219134b", is located 21 light-years from Earth in the constellation Cassiopeia.
Scientists have stated that the planet does not have a huge nucleus unlike the Earth, but it is rich in calcium and aluminum, suggesting that the planet is covered with precious stones.
"The planet can be red and blue, like sapphires and blue sapphires, because these precious stones are common aluminum oxides on a planet outside the solar system," said Carolyn Dorn, a physicist at the University of California. Institute of Computer Science of the University of Zurich.
