The Cambridge University research team called this planet “the Hayshin exoplanets,” and these planets are often larger and hotter than Earth, and covered with hydrogen-rich oceans and atmospheres.
These planets orbit near their star, and they always have bright parts, always dark parts and shadow parts, which are the parts that scientists think are habitable.
The team’s principal investigator, Niko Madhusudan, called the discovery a new path and hope for all who seek a life elsewhere.
