Events of the day – Wrinkles can quickly become a thing of the past, with the aging mechanism of the skin.
Scientists have discovered a basic protein that can constitute a "new anti-aging factor", by developing two properties that give hope for the future development of a young spring.
Both drugs increase the level of protein known as COL17A1, which is present in the cells of young skin cells, but it begins to decrease with time and ages.
As long as many cells are born with some depth below the surface of the skin, with high levels of protein, the young skin continues.
In the "survival of the fittest" scenario, healthier skin cells outperform weaker cells that die. Over time, however, a number of powerful skin cells are born, controlling the weaker cells and creating a lean appearance.
Voltage and exposure to toxic chemicals, or damage caused by sunlight, can also reduce protein levels "COL17A1".
But researchers have found a way to increase the levels of this protein because the drugs developed can help heal wounds and even prevent skin cancer.
Amy Neishimura of the Tokyo School of Medicine and Dentistry came to the latest discovery after a study of human skin and mouse tissue developed in the laboratory. The compounds have not been tested on live humans.
The researchers wrote in the journal Nature that they had discovered two chemical compounds that increased the levels of COL17A1, Y27632 and Apocinin.
They said that the discovery suggests that it can facilitate the regeneration of the skin and reduce the aging of the skin. Healthy mammalian cells can effectively reproduce adult tissue and replace damaged or damaged cells.
