Cardiovascular medicine consultant Dr Khaled Al-Nimr confirmed that citrus fruits do not cause high blood pressure in the body.
“Al-Nimr” said in a tweet on his Twitter account that oranges and lemons do not lead to high blood pressure.
The normal blood pressure of an adult is defined as a blood pressure of 120 mm / Hg 1 with a heart rate (systolic blood pressure) and 80 mm / Hg with a relaxed heart (diastolic blood pressure).
When systolic blood pressure reaches 140 mm / Hg or more or diastolic blood pressure reaches 90 mm / Hg or more, this is considered to be an increase or rise in blood pressure.
