A citizen named Saud said that he was paralyzed as a result of a road accident caused by his mobile driving concerns.
He explained that he could not control the car when he had seen a truck in front of him and that the accident had occurred. He then discovered that he was paralyzed by half as a result of a wrong maneuver of pedestrians.
"Another man, Majid al-Otaibi, said that he had been injured in a road accident because of his concern about cell phones, which had caused him to have his legs amputated.
Majid underwent an operation that was successful, but he fell into a coma for several weeks, then woke up saying to himself: "I was hoping for death and I will be in this case".
The chief traffic officer, Mohammed al-Bassami, said that there were 460 deaths by phone over the past year and 10 deaths a week by mobile and by lack of concentration.
