Brazilian giants Gustavo Cuellar were allowed to settle in Al Hilal in exchange for a payment of 7.5 to 8 million euros, the Brazilian newspaper Netfla announced on Friday.
Brazilian sources close to Flamengo revealed the player's determination to settle in Al Hilal and refused to continue to be part of the club when they reached the semi-finals of Cuba Libertadores.
Flamingo announced in an official statement a few minutes ago that the administration had allowed Cuellar to travel to Saudi Arabia in order to complete his signing with the Al Hilal team before the end of the summer transfer period in the Arab region.
Flamengo Vice President Marcos Braz said earlier that the administration had tried to persuade Cuellar to continue, but the player was determined to move to Al Hilal.
