The women's basketball team beat Cameroon 68/63 in the round of 16 of the African Basketball Championship in Senegal
The Pharaohs qualified for the quarterfinals after losing their first two games against Cote d 'Ivoire and Senegal and defeating Cameroon today.
The team must meet Mozambique in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
Asrar Majid, Mohamed Thuraya, Janna Mustafa, Raneem Mohamed, Reem Osama, Fatima Mamdouh, Hisham Reem, Mennatallah Mohamed, Miral Ashraf, Nada Nafea, Nour Allah Ali and Hala Mustafa are part of the basketball team.
