The junior volleyball team beat Nigeria 3-0 in the last 16 of the World Championship hosted by Tunisia to qualify for the quarter-finals.
The test results are as follows (25/16), (25/20) and (29/27).
Egypt qualified for the round of 16 as the first group C by imposing four times against Germany, Argentina and Japan to meet the fourth Nigerian group, Nigeria.
The junior team won the first 3/2 match against its European champion Germany before defeating Argentina 1/3 at the second meeting and defeating Japan 2/3 and Mexico 3/0 .
The Egyptian team includes Mohamed Elwan, Omar Degiam, Ahmed Abdel Azim, Marwan El Naggar, Abdel Rahman El Husseini, Anas Mohamed, Karim Ibrahim, Iyad Mohamed, Mohamed El Orabi, Youssef Naseer, Youssef Gaafar and Ibrahim Raslan.
