Egypt continues to lead the African Games with 50 medals

The Egyptian delegation to the African Games in Rabat, Morocco, continued to lead the tournament with 50 medals, including 14 gold medals, 20 silver medals and 16 bronze medals.

South Africa came in second with 27 medals, including 12 gold, 9 silver and 6 bronze, and Algeria in third position with 30 medals, including 10 gold, 8 silver and 12 bronze.

Egypt won the gold medals of Ramadan Darwish, Ali Hazem, Mohammed Abdulrahman and Ali Hazem in judo, Ahmed Akram and Hania Moro, and Noor Al-Jundi gold, Marwan Al-Qashim, Farid Othman and Abdul Rahman Al-Arabi in swimming and gold women's volleyball on beach, in which the team represented Farida Al-Asha Demanda Angel and Mason in taekwondo.
