According to the Daily Mail website, the Rift S eyewear, due to be launched this spring, will replace the original Rift eyewear, which first appeared in 2016.
The Oculus indoor glasses have removed Facebook-owned virtual reality for its Rift S glasses at the annual San Francisco Gaming Developer Conference.
Oculus explained that the new glasses give gamers and technology enthusiasts access to the most immersive content of virtual reality.
"The enhancement of optics and display technology provides a clearer picture with higher pixel density for a more immersive gaming experience," said the company.
