The Chinese company “DD” is preparing to enter the intelligent transport market in Egypt, from Monday, September 13.
DD will launch its services from the city of Alexandria, which operates through a smart app that connects drivers to passengers, such as the US “Uber” app.
Egypt is the first Arab country to activate DD services, after Russia, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Panama, Peru and South Africa, according to his official. website.
DD Company confirmed that its smart app features high safety and security factors for passengers and drivers, including emergency button and distress call, monitoring systems during the trip, the ability to share travel and reliable contacts, according to the Egyptian. newspaper “Al-Mal”.
In order to attract new customers to join the app, DD announced the provision of a welcome package worth 150 Egyptian pounds, including discount vouchers, as well as free trips worth 25 books every Thursday for 4 weeks.
He also pointed out that he offers reward programs for drivers, if they manage to make 10 trips in the first week of their membership, and that they also receive £ 25 for each new user invitation.
And Uber, which is the best-known in the field of intelligent transportation, announced last month that it will increase the prices of its trips in all its categories of trips due to the recent increase in fuel prices.
