The cameras at NASA's Soho Observatory have put online a video of a dramatic sequence showing a comet colliding with the sun.
The comet entered the gravitational field of the Sun on August 15, the newspaper said.
The video showed the comet slowly approaching the sun on Wednesday night.
The video shows the comet flying slowly past the screens of the space observatory, where the sun was hiding behind a shadow disk.
