Nizar Al-Fares claims the artist Rania Youssef in compensation of 5 million pounds.

The session was postponed until March 6, in order to inform Youssef to attend this session, after it became clear that she was absent from today’s session.

The Iraqi broadcaster had taken legal action against the artist, Rania Youssef, demanding £ 5million compensation for “slander and defamation” on social networking sites (social media).

It should be noted that the Qasr al-Nil Criminal Court acquitted Youssef of the charge of committing the crime of indecent act, corruption and contempt of religion, in statements she made in a television interview with journalist Nizar Al-Faris.
