Egyptian artist Ihab Khorshid dies after battle with disease

Egyptian artist Omar Khorshid announced the death of his father, artist Ihab Khorshid, last night on Sunday at the age of 82.

Omar Khorshid mourned his father, via his personal account on the Facebook site, declaring: “My dear father, Ihab Khorshid, has passed away, at the mercy of Almighty God, after a short period of battling illness.

The artist Ihab Khorshid rose to fame in the eighties for many works, including: “The Children of the Refuge, the owner of the administration, the guardian of the architecture and the return of the fugitive”.

Ihab Khorshid is the son of the late Ahmed Khorshid, professor of cinematography, of the late producer Etimad Khorshid, and the brother of the late musician Omar Khorshid.
