An Egyptian doctor has confirmed an increase in the use of immunotherapy in Egypt because of its important contribution to the healing of many diseases.

Dr. Mohamed El-Atraby, president of the Egyptian Society of Allergy and Immunotherapy, said in a press release that immunotherapy treated various allergic conditions, including thoracic, nasal, digestive, nerve sensitivities , ocular and cutaneous. .

He pointed out that global research centers pay great attention to immunotherapy because it does not deal with presentation, but deals directly with the disease and eliminates it completely unlike chemical drugs, and that immunotherapy does not no significant side effects and results in the first few weeks of treatment.

He added that allergy treatment is now available in Egypt, where the Egyptian Society for the Treatment of Allergies and Immunotherapy has set up centers for the treatment of allergies and immunity and in cooperation with America's largest sensitivity group by forming a group of physicians to use immunotherapy scientifically and in accordance with international standards for allergies.

He added that the Association had organized numerous scientific conferences on immunotherapy and created 16 centers at the republic level in cooperation with a large group of qualified doctors. Professors and experts in the field of allergies and vaccination from Egypt and the world, with the participation of the European Academy of Allergy and Immunology, the US group of immunotherapy and the American society Greer.

He pointed out that the treatment consisted of administering to the patient points or pills under the tongue of children or adults or injecting him under the skin in small doses ranging from a quarter to half a centimeter after the identification of allergens. The treatment consisted of these same allergens and moved away completely from the cortisone.

He emphasized that immunotherapy puts an end to the health problem by its roots because it attacks the root causes of the disease and is used in the treatment of many immune diseases as well as types of immune disorders. allergies.

Al-Atribi pointed out that elimination of allergy by immunotherapy was being phased out and achieved success rates of more than 90%, especially in children, stressing that this treatment had no side effects because it was a biological treatment.
