The Egyptian star of Liverpool, Mohamed Salah, won Tuesday the title of African player of the year 2018 during the ceremony of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), in the Senegalese capital, Dakar.
Pharaoh Mohammed Salah has become the second player to be named African footballer of the year twice, in his history, after Nigerian striker Nwanko Kanu, winner in 1996 and 1999.
The Egyptian star made many achievements last year, thanks to his impressive performance with Liverpool.
With Salah alongside fellow striker Sadeo Mani of Liverpool and Gabon striker Pierre Emeric Obamyang, the hat-trick will be renewed after joining the list of 2017 finalists to win the prize, which was also awarded to the Egyptian star.
