Moscow will host the 26th edition of the International Exhibition of Tourism and Travel from Moscow from March 12 to 14.
The exhibition, which annually organizes more than 1,800 companies from 54 foreign countries, presents in the six exhibition halls several pavilions of 52 regions and Russian regions.
Several Arab countries, including Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Lebanon, Sudan, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Jordan and other countries, have traditionally attended the exhibition.
Direct flights between Egypt and Russia have recently resumed after a Russian decision in the fall of 2015, following the crash of a Russian passenger aircraft Airbus 321 in the Sinai desert, killing its passengers and crew, considered a terrorist act.
The suspension of flights between the two countries has seriously affected the tourism sector in Egypt, particularly with similar measures taken by several countries considered as major tourist destinations in Egypt.
