The Italian Eni said Thursday in a statement that he had discovered a new gas field in the Nile concession area in the Mediterranean Sea and that this new deposit is located 50 km north of Sinai and believes currently the gas reserves on the deposit. The company stated that it found in Well # 1 a gas column estimated at 90 meters
The giant oil exploration company said it had not tested the new well, but had obtained accurate and thorough data in the field. It would quickly begin feasibility studies and speed up the use of these new resources.
Noor Maritime belongs to 40% to Italian ENI, 25% to BP, 20% to Mubadala and 15% to oil.
