Sheikh Sabah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, said the Arab countries were going through critical and dangerous conditions, which they must not only say, but also strive for. to meet the challenges and overcome all the differences.

In a speech in Tunis Sunday at the opening of the Arab summit in Tunis, he stressed that the responsibility of Arab leaders before God is great and that future generations will not be forgiven if the Arab problems are not resolved. Calling for the need to launch development initiatives aimed at creating employment opportunities for Arab youth.

Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad added that he continued with deep sadness the attack on mosques in New Zealand, hoping that God would accept the martyrs with his mercy and forgiveness, pointing out that Kuwait was condemned for this terrorist incident.

He underscored Kuwait's stance with the international community and all forces with a view to eliminating terrorism, spreading the values ​​of tolerance and giving priority to dialogue.

The Palestinian question is considered the first Arab question, he said, stressing that world security would continue to be disrupted as long as the Palestinian issue was not resolved in a fair way.

On the Libyan issue, the emir of Kuwait stressed the need to develop a plan of action to resolve the Libyan crisis, stressing the need not to interfere with Iran in the internal affairs of Arab countries.
