Algerian Baghdad Boungah scored Al Sadd’s two goals in minutes 3 and 44, while Icelandic Arab lone Aaron Gunnarsson scored in the 23rd minute of the game.
The Emir of Qatar presented the trophy to Al-Sadd frontman Hassan Al-Haydos amid the overwhelming joy of club supporters, who were present at the stadium after granting a limited audience.
