According to British media reports, Mohamed Salah could leave Liverpool for one of Europe's most powerful clubs this summer.
"I have the feeling that Salah might not last long in Liverpool if it's another season like the last two seasons," said Duncan Castles.
He added: "The big European clubs will seek to sign it, if Barcelona, Real Madrid or even Juventus sign it, and they are ready to shell out a lot of money to leave (Salah) Liverpool.
"If that happens and if Liverpool gets a big sum, it will not affect them.Everyone clearly sees that they also need additional players."
"They need a creative midfielder for a long time and a player of this type," Castles said.
The Egyptian star has revolutionized Anfield since arriving in Liverpool in 2017 for £ 37 million. He scored 74 goals in 110 games in his first season, breaking several records.
Although he did not repeat his superb numbers in his second season, Salah scored 27 goals last season, including a valuable goal in the Champions League final, crowned Liverpool at the expense of Tottenham, with a 2-0 win.
