The European Football Association (UEFA), which has more than 200 confirmed clubs, reaffirmed Tuesday that it would not participate in the program of the World Cup 2021 clubs under current conditions.
The European Clubs Association said it would consider changing positions if FIFA sat down to discuss changes to the international calendar.
"We do not want to participate in the tournament at the moment because of the busy schedule, but we will be ready to discuss the changes ahead," said Andrea Anniele, President of the European Clubs Association.
Agnelli also denied that the European Association of Clubs proposed to organize the Champions League early this week from 2024, the year of the modification of the current system.
