The European Union (EU) has announced that the Arab-European summit will be held on Sunday and Monday (24-25 February) in Sharm el-Sheikh, under the chairmanship of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and the President of the European Council Donald Tusk.

He added that Europeans and Arabs have a long history of cultural, economic, trade and political exchanges, as well as geographical proximity and interdependence, which have contributed to the institutionalization of strong relations between the European Union and the League of Arab States.
Through this framework, the common goal was to develop closer cooperation in order to achieve common hopes for peace, security and prosperity in both regions.
He noted that the League of Arab States is the only Arab group that includes all Arab countries and is the equivalent of the European Union in the Arab world.
