Nature has published a study on video games and their impact on the spirit and concentration of children.
The study, published by the site, was shared by Chinese researchers and researchers from the University of Macquarie in Australia, who discovered a mutual relationship between video games and gray matter growth in the brain.
The researchers focused on an area called "the lobe of the island," part of the cerebral cortex. It is thought that a large part of the language treatments are in this region. They studied the effect of 27 people playing video games almost permanently and 30 amateurs.
"When we compared the video game experts and the amateurs, we found that the experts had an improved functional connection and an increased gray matter size in the subregions of the islet," said L & #. 39, study team.
Gray matter in the brain is part of the central nervous system and effectively controls all brain functions.
Improving neurological communication in this area will therefore accelerate thought processes and increase intelligence.
