Judd Heape of Qualcomm recently revealed that the camera technology in smartphones that will be unveiled in 2019 will reach the 64 and 100 megapixel camera specifications.

Qualcomm processor ratings support up to 192 megapixels in cameras, including Snapdragon 660, 670, 675, 710, 845 and 855 chips, but will reach that level in the camera's sensors. Other benefits include noise reduction in multiple images or shutter response speed.

Therefore, increasing the resolution of cameras at this level does not allow the integration of more than one image into an image with the best quality of display, but allows the production of an image at the highest resolution, then adjust the pixel to get a lower resolution.

On the other hand, 48-megapixel cameras now have the combination of a single 4-pixel dot to support a 12-megapixel camera. Devices that will be upgraded to 64 megapixels should therefore support the production of 16 megapixel photos.

New versions of smartphones should also go in the opposite direction to that of Samsung's technology, namely the Galaxy S10, the Google Pixel 3 or the XS iPhone XS Apple. These versions use high resolution and low resolution sensors to produce more detailed images. Precision, less noise, clarity and greater purity.

Qualcomm's spokesman also revealed that the Snapdragon 865 processor chip would feature the HDR10 video recording feature, so smart phone cameras will continue to evolve rapidly over the period to come.
