The media have suggested that US technology company “Apple” may stop production of its “iPhone 12 mini” phone due to low demand.

This came according to what was reported by “Business Insider”, citing analysts at financial group “JP Morgan”.

The “Apple” company plans to reduce the production of “iPhone 12” by 9 million devices, and plans to reduce the production of “iPhone 12 mini” by 11 million devices.

Analysts estimate that due to the drop in demand for the “iPhone 12 mini”, the phone will disappear from the market in mid-2021, several months before the launch of the new “iPhone 13”.

It should be noted that “Apple” has not taken such a step before, even at the time when “the iPhone 5C” posted a sales failure.

At the same time, analysts indicate that the company “Apple” plans to increase the production of “iPhone 12 Promax”, “iPhone 12 Pro” and “iPhone 11” by 21 million devices.

The American company presented the “iPhone 12” and “iPhone 12 mini” models in mid-October, and both models appeared on the Russian market at the end of the same month.
