Extend the work in four stations for the technical control of cars during the evening

The General Directorate of Technical Inspection of production cars today announced the extension of the work of four technical inspection stations during the evening in the cities of Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah and Mecca starting next Sunday, to make life easier for citizens and residents.

The Department explained that with the instructions and the follow-up of the Director General of Traffic, Mohammed Bin Abdullah al-Bassami, the arrangements for the reception of vehicles were completed in the evening until 11 pm Sunday at the Thursday and that these stations would close at 10 pm on Saturday.

"Technical control" is one of the most important safety programs that the Directorate General of Road Traffic wants to implement to raise the level and develop the safety of vehicles, reduce the number of road accidents and protect the environment of pollution caused by exhaust gases, as well as to mask deformed vehicles and ensure the fluidity of traffic, Vehicle, and the detection of accidents and imminent accidents, and extend the life of the vehicle, where more than (73) parts of the vehicle are examined, and the steps of the accuracy, completeness and objectivity of the test, this test reassuring the leaders of the vehicles and others, God willing.

The periodic technical inspection of cars in the Kingdom of the best programs applied so far in all regions of the world, after studying the systems applied in different countries, has achieved the objectives by meeting the requirements of the Application of the periodic technical inspection program for cars.
