3. Biopsy: In rare cases, the doctor may need to do a biopsy of the eye tissue to confirm the result.
In most cases of eye cancers where the eye cancer is detected in its infancy and before its spread outside the eye, the rate of successful treatment is high. If a small tumor is diagnosed in the eye, it will not be treated quickly and directly because the doctor will monitor it to see how it would develop and develop.
However, if a cancer of the eye has been diagnosed, several treatments are performed:
1 – Radiotherapy: This type of treatment is the most common type because the radiation rays are accurate on the spot of the tumor to kill. Radiation therapy can be local or external.
2. Lasers: The "infrared" laser is used to fight and eliminate small tumors by killing blood vessels and capillaries, nourishing and closing them.
3. Surgery: In some cases, as in tumors of the iris, the doctor may need to remove part of the eye to remove the tumor and in some cases as a result of the spread from the disease, it can be removed from all eyes and replaced by others.
