Researchers at the University of Cambridge, UK, have revealed a new treatment for blood cancer from eye droplets, which heal retinal vascular disease.
The head of the research team, Georges Vasilio, said drops of eye treatment could stop the spread of "leukemia", called acute leukemia, without affecting healthy cells.
"This new treatment can cure other types of cancers, not just leukemia," the researchers said.
According to the Daily Star website, these droplets are still in the testing phase to target the gene that can prevent the spread of this type of dangerous cancer, which leads to the death of many patients.
