Facebook has unveiled a new set of features for the Messenger camera, which includes 5 different modes for the camera – classic camera, video, text, silvi and boomerang – available on a bar located at the bottom of the camera lens.
Facebook add-ons include the new "Silvi" mode, which automatically closes the background, as well as the Augmented Reality (RA) feature that allows users to place stickers on videos and photos, as well as only on Boomerang videos.
Facebook noted that these augmented reality posters can be sent via a normal text mode chat by clicking on the camera icon located next to the poster.
The company added that these additions would gradually reach all users around the world and would be available on both the recently redesigned version of Messenger and the earlier version.
The move comes two months after the company announced the redesign of the Messenger application, focused primarily on simplicity.
